Test Matches at Hyderabad
The first test match assigned to Hyderabad was in the year 1955. The test was played between India and New Zealand. In this drawn match Polly Umrigar score 233 runs which is the highest record for all test matches at Hyderabad.
Ravichandran Ashwin holds the record for highest number of wickets in a match. His haul of 6/31 ( I Innings) and 6/54 ( II Innings) in 2012 is the best match performance against New Zealand by an Indian Player against this country.
Virat Kohli on his way to 204 runs against the Bangladesh Team in the year 2017. He is the second Indian to score a double century in a test match at Hyderabad after Polly Umrigar.
