JOB TITLE: Head of Cricket Operations

JOB ATTRIBUTES:

Job Title: Head of Cricket Operations
Job Location: Rajiv Gandhi International Cricket Stadium, Uppal, Hyderabad
Job Timings: 10 AM to 6 PM, Monday to Saturday

Job Description:

1. Develop and oversee the implementation of the short, medium and long-term operational plans and performance objectives for the Cricket Operations department.
2. Build and maintain excellent working relationships with all internal and external stakeholders.
3. Develop and oversee the implementation of a HCA cricket structure and annual calendar that provides context, consistency and alignment with the BCCI domestic tournaments.
4. Oversee the development of a set of rules, regulations, playing conditions and policies which sanctions
   and supports the HCA cricket structure.Work on team and player registrations, tournament planning, data entry, reconciliation, report
   development, etc.
5. Oversee the management of the following:
   
   
   • All administrative, logistical and operational aspects of all local and BCCI domestic tournaments for men and women (including suitable age groups for both boys and girls).
     
     
   • All administrative, logistical and operational aspects of all HCA Leagues, BCCI and other tours and tournaments.
   • Prepare yearly financial budget and requisition all equipment/ material/ grounds/ medical services, etc. and other requirements for enabling cricket operations
     
     
   • Periodic reviews/audits/assessments of league records, competitions and cricketing facilities of HCA.
     
     
   • Build a comprehensive talent identification program.
     
     
   • Provide oral and written reports, advice, assessments and debriefs to the CEO, Office Bearers and Cricket Sub-Committees, as required from time to time.

Requirements and Skills:

• Master’s/Bachelor’s Degree with a strong background in cricket operations, preferably with a playing background and a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience of working with similar organisations in which at least 5 years in a leadership position.
• Significant cricket playing experience and/or cricket coaching qualifications would be advantageous.
• Strong understanding of theoretical and practical cricket issues, including familiarity with the India cricketing landscape, ICC/BCCI rules & regulations and the Laws of the Game.
• Positive and enthusiastic attitude with a flexible, open-minded approach and a willingness to embrace new ideas.
• Ability to foster strong relations, communicate effectively and build effective working relationships with all the relevant stakeholders.
• Capable of motivating, leading and empowering others to achieve goals.
• Ability to operate with professionalism and integrity in challenging situations.
