SUBJECT: The first pre-planning meeting for the IPL 2026 has been initiated by the officials of the Hyderabad Cricket Association

As part of the preliminary arrangements, the HCA office bearers Mr. Amarnath (President), Mr. T. Basavaraju (Joint Secretary), Mr. Sunil Kumar Agarwal (Councillor) along with the Mr. Imtiaz Khan, CEO visited the Uppal Police Station and met Shri K.Suresh Kumar, IPS., Dy. Commissioner of Police Uppal Zone Malkajgiri.

During the meeting, initial discussions were held regarding security arrangements, crowd management, traffic regulation, coordination with the Fire Department and overall coordination with the police department in preparation for the upcoming IPL 2026 matches scheduled to be hosted in Hyderabad.

The officials briefed the police authorities on the expected requirements and logistical planning, and assured that the Hyderabad Cricket Association will work in close coordination with the police and other departments to ensure the smooth and secure conduct of the tournament.

Further planning meetings and coordination with concerned departments will be conducted in the coming days as part of the overall preparations for IPL 2026.
