SUBJECT: SENIOR MEN (16 YEARS TO 36 YEARS)
(No registration fee is applicable. The HCA Open Selections are being conducted free of cost)

The Hyderabad Cricket Association (HCA) is pleased to announce Open Selection Trials for the Senior Men Category for the 2026–27 cricket season.

The trials are exclusively open to players who are not registered in the HCA League Season 2026–27 and who fulfill the eligibility, domicile, and other requirements prescribed by HCA.

KEY DETAILS:

Eligibility Criteria:

1. Category: SENIOR MEN (16 YEARS TO 36 YEARS)
2. Players must be 16 years and above (born on or before 31st August 2010).
3. Players must not be older than 36 years of age (born on or after 31st August 1990).
   

Domicile Requirement

Players born outside Telangana must establish continuous residence in Telangana for a minimum period of three years as per HCA guidelines, commencing from 19th May 2023.

Players born outside the State of Telangana shall be required to establish continuous residence in Telangana for a minimum period of three years commencing from 19th May 2023.

Foreign Passport / Overseas Players

Applications shall not be accepted from players born outside India or from individuals holding foreign passports.

Registration Details:

• Registration shall commence from 18th May 2026 at 11:00 AM onwards and will remain open until 20th May 2026 at 11:59 PM.
• Registrations shall be accepted strictly on a first-come, first-served basis.
• A maximum of 5,000 registrations will be accepted during the registration window.

Out of the total registrations received, the first 3,000 eligible players shall be shortlisted for Phase–I Trials based on the respective player categories, namely:

• Batsmen
  
• Bowlers
  
• All-Rounders
• Wicket-Keepers

The remaining registered players beyond the initial 3,000 shortlisted candidates shall be considered for Phase–II Trials. The schedule and related details for Phase–II will be communicated in due course.

Trial Date -Venue & Timings
TRAIL date – 21/05/2026 onwards as per batches and slots attlotted.
Venue - Gymkhana Grounds, Hyderabad
Morning Session: 7:00 AM to 11:00 AM
Evening Session: 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM

Trials will be conducted in batches. The reporting date and time slot for each player will be communicated individually through email and will also be updated on the HCA websites:

Mandatory Documents

Applicants must submit the following documents at the time of registration and verification:

1. Valid Date of Birth (DOB) Proof
2. Aadhaar Card

Important Instructions

• Players must report only 30 minutes prior to their allotted reporting time.
• Original Aadhaar Card must be carried for verification purposes.
• Players should wear coloured cricket clothing suitable for white-ball cricket.
• Players are advised to carry their personal cricket kit.
• Parents, guardians, and outsiders shall not be permitted inside the ground or trial venue during the trials.
• Participation in the trials does not guarantee selection.
